Nyaypriya is the Hindi translation of French play “Les Justis” written by Albert Camus. The play is translated in hindi by Sharad Chandra and directed by Parvez Akhtar. The play was first performed in 2009 October. A total no. of 15 shows have been organized till date. Nyaypriya took part in the international theatre festival “Bharat Rang Mohotsav” and in the “Festival of Performing Arts” organized by Sangeet Natak Academy.
The play puts forward the debate about violence in the path of social change and revolution and whether violence can ensure justice or not. It shows the tragedy of the revolutionists.
