The various kinds of activities include plays, movie screening, summer camps, theatre shows, music concert, power point presentations, informal meetings and discussions. From 2008 to 2014 various prominent theatre groups of Bihar performed on machaan. These include Kilkari, IPTA, Nirman, Hirawal, Abhiyaan, HMT and Manch . Akeli Aurat, Narmedh, Bolta Gadha, Andher Nagari, Suicide, Nanga Raja, Le Mashale, Tajmahal ka Tender, Baghin Meri Sathin, Bidesiya, Nyaya, Palki Palna, Order Order, Hum Bihar Main Chunav Lad Rahe Hai, Idgah and Gopi Gavaiya Bagha Bajaiya have been performed on Machaan.
Movies which have been showed on Machaan include critically acclaimed movies like Children of Heaven, Saleem Langdey Par Mat Ro, Ramchand Pakistani, Dharm, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Mumbai meri Jaan, Teesri Kasam, Gattu, The Kid and Circus.
Musical concert include Sufi sangeet by PRACHI and Rabindra sangeet by Bhaswati Chakravarty from Shantiniketan.
Summer camps were organized every year and almost 100 kids took part in it ranging from the age group of 5 to 15. The 15 days long summer camp consisted of theatre activities, dance classes, painting classes, and theatre games. In last two days of the camp the kids performed on machaan. Two major theatre production performed on Machaan-“andher nagri” and “tajmahal ka tender” was the product of Natmandap’s summer theatre camp. Other than plays, dance performances and painting exhibition made sure the participation of all the kids in the event. This was the most awaited time of the year when kids from all social backgrounds came together to perform and enjoy. Natmandap got huge support from Kilkari, patna in organizing the summer camp each year.
The main attraction of the camp and machaan was the local participation. A large no. of women and kids took part in the events and helped to organize the events successfully. There was immense support from the local people and peope from the Sri Krishna Nagar colony, Patna.
